i’m pretty sure i wouldnt have graduated on time, let alone at all if i didn’t transfer to PA cyber. I had many issues in public school and i was failing all of my classes sophomore year. Once enrolled i was excited to be out of public school so i took my work more seriously, but i also realized my teachers took ME more seriously. In public school my concerned we’re brushed off as if they were all stupid questions or that i just wasn’t paying any attention. At PA cyber all my teachers were quick to answer my questions and made sure i understood the tasks at hand. I loved the virtual classroom and being able to listen to the teacher & answer with the other students as well as working in groups while being able to chat amongst ourselves while working to get the correct answer as a group. It was awesome to be able to interact with your classmates WITHOUT the distraction that comes from public schools. I am now a 2015 PA Cyber graduate and i learned more in my 2 1/2 years here then i learned in ALL my years in public school. Altogether my experience was 10/10 would recommend to anyone struggling in public school.
I have been going here for over 2 years now and it is the worst school I have ever been in. And I've even been in river rock academy. In that school, I could've graduated 2 years ago (early) but yesterday I had to restart my senior year because they screwed with my grades. They said I was done last school year right before school let out, just to throw me back into school again. I gave birth 8 months ago and they only gave me 3 DAYS OFF WHEN I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL LONGER THAN THAT!!! And after my birth of my son, I had to go to physical therapy because my abdominal muscles split into two and my pelvis was also separated. They still didn't let me off school. And in turn, I missed a lot of school which were not excused causing me to become behind. I call them and email them like crazy and they hardly ever give me an answer. A lot of things are misspelled and incorrect on the quizzes and what not. Everything about PA cyber is extremely unprofessional and quite frankly, I regret enrolling to this school. It has ruined a lot of things in my life. Please don't send your kids here. I am a responsible, hardworking, intelligent young lady and I feel like I didn't get an education since being enrolled to this program. It hurts so bad...
this is my first year and i already love it very very helpful i would reccomend this school
They're making things much more difficult for the parents and sometimes the students. Changing things up, more complicated. My kids teachers changing and advisors... I don't know how they have a high scores. Somethings not right with the scores. Teachers are good for the most part, but the workload for the parents is much more than a full time job. I can do it much more simply and effective. Learning is suppose to be fun and enriching, not tedious. All the testing, not enough practice.. Honestly I think the great ratings are fabricated.
No matter what your situation is, they're always there to help and work with you. Just graduated here, I absolutely loved this school over all the many online schools i switched too. They fit my schedule and life perfectly. Thank you!!
